Category: Press KitFulgenzi gives his team maiden Carrera Cup win in Vallelunga
At his second year running Enrico Fulgenzi Racing surely became one of the head-teams of the Porsche AM competitions (for example Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse), this is happening thanks to the experience coming from the Team Owner and from the entire ultra-skilled staff.Jesi, 21/09/2021
It still would be natural to think that the performance matter could be so much more difficult while racing in PRO championships, where each detail must be inch-perfect. The italian team showed once again what it’s capable of, and they got the first win at their fourth Carrer Cup Italia attempt.
Vallelunga’s race two has been quite chaotic and eventful, with three safety cars required. Enrico Fulgenzi managed to capitalize over his opponents’ mistakes, which caused offs and penalities, and reaching his dream maiden win in one of his favourite tracks.
Another main thing happened in Vallelunga, as Gabriel Rindone put on a stunning performance and reached an estonishing P3 and maiden Carrera-Cup podium after such a clever race. The driver from UAE showed what he is capable of, and that with Enrico Fulgenzi Racing’s #91 in his hands he is one of the fastest lads of the entire Carrera Cup (Michelin Cup) roster.
Next step is already here: Team is at Mugello right now, for Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse’s round 5. Japan’s Shintaro Akatsu is being Rindone’s team mate this weekend, as Gaby has his first championship “match point” in the second to last meeting.
Carrera Cup Italia is set to resume in the beautiful and freshly-inaugurated Porsche Driving Experience Center in Franciacorta, the 1-2-3rd of October.
